Integrating Greenhouse

Capabilities​

Cyera's Greenhouse integration provides the following capabilities:

Before You Start​

To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:

  • Greenhouse User Role: Site Admin

Create Greenhouse API Key​

  1. Log in to Greenhouse.
  2. Select the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Dev Center and API Credential Management.
  4. Select Create new credential:
Credential Details

API type: Harvest

Partner: Custom

Description: A description of the credential's use within the organization.

  1. Select Manage permissions and store your API Key in a secure location.
  2. Select I have stored the API key.
  3. Select Manage permissions and seleect the required permissions for Cyera:
Required Permissions

Candidates:

  • Get: List Candidates
  • Delete: Delete Candidate
  • Patch: Edit Candidate

Users:

  • Get: List Users
  1. Select Save.

Connect to Cyera​

  1. In Cyera, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Greenhouse.
  2. Enter the API Key and the email associated with your Greenhouse account.
  3. Select Configure Integration.

Troubleshooting​

If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:

Ensure You Authenticate as a Site Admin

For auditing purposes, Greenhouse restricts deletion to the Site Admin user role. If the user who authenticates the integration with Cyera does not have Site Admin permissions in Greenhouse, the integration will be unable to process deletion requests.

Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources

Cyera checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.

Review Required Account Types and User Roles

If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to Cyera will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
